Horses retired from the track
When we decide to retire one of our horses from the track, they come to Kadler Farm and receive a full vet check, personalized maintenance program and pampering in the barn! Training and regular riding is done at least three times a week, usually more! We have many horses who've been sold and are doing great in their new homes and careers!

Storybook Doll
Congratulations! She found her new home in an eventing barn in southeastern Wisconsin!!
"Storybook" is a 2004 off track Thoroughbred mare. She stands over 16 hands She retired sound after 23 starts, including one "win", one "place" and three "show" finishes.
She is drop-dead gorgeous and sweet as pie! With her athleticism, she could make a world-class eventer or hunter/jumper. She has free jumped and shows great hunter form. See the video of her first free jumping session. I had Jodi Ely evaluate her just before she left for Florida this winter and she agrees that eventing is her game!
Storybook's suspension and lift suggest she could also be an exceptional dressage horse. See some of her suspension in this arena work video and in her canter video.
This mare is confident, and not spooky. She loves to work and is very loyal, level headed and quiet. She is very soft in the bridle even with the rubber coated bit we are using on her!
